Location
Located in the hills that surround the city of Montepulciano (SI), an area renowned for the quality of its wines, the company Villa St. Anna is part of a vast area of property that for about two centuries belonged to Simona Ruggeri Fabroni's family.
Products
From the fresh red wine "Rosso", to the refined Nobile. There are five in total wine references for this company. The fresh Chianti Colli Senesi Docg, also ideal as an aperitif, Vin Santo di Montepulciano a traditional Tuscan dessert wine, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Docg, Rosso di Montepulciano Doc, and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Docg Poldo. The Villa S.Anna Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Docg is a very refined and balanced wine, with a non-aggressive taste and pronounced tannins, but always elegant. It's production is about 25-30,000 bottles per year, and the company aims to achieve the highest quality in the sector with this wine. It is obtained from the following grapes: Sangiovese, Mammolo, Canaiolo, Colorino and Merlot and is considered perfect to serve with traditional Tuscan cuisine, such as red meat, game and aged cheeses.
The Rosso di Montepulciano is characterized by its freshness and complexity at the same time. Its production is about 20-25,000 bottles per year and it is a perfect wine for daily consumption thanks to its excellent price and high quality. The Pride of the cellar is the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Poldo Docg. which is produced only in exceptional years.
Packaging
The company has decided to provide different packaging for its products depending on the clients requests and taste. The packaging can be in cartons manufactured on an industrial scale, or handcrafted wood. The carton packaging is always enhanced by a touch of elegance in both the colours and in the details of the logo, and the company offers different sizes: from 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12 bottles.
As for the wood packaging there are several sizes and colours: a natural colored packaging for individual Magnums of 1.5 litre. A green one for double packs that hold 0.75 liter bottles, a red one that can hold three bottles, and a natural color one for 6 bottles.
Export
About 80% of the company's production, especially the Vino Nobile and Rosso di Montepulciano is exported, mainly to the USA and Northern and Central Europe.
