"The presence of the Beretta Group at the exhibition site will be well structured" said Andrea Beretta: "we will have two spaces in Expo Milano 2015. Piazza Beretta 1812, an area of over 400 square metres where everyone will have the opportunity to learn about the territories, the people and the products of our ancient traditions, through emotional films projected on ledwalls. Visitors will also enjoy tasting the 18 excellence DOP and IGP products of our delicatessen. Educational events will also be organized with experts and technicians from our Academy. The second area of over 40 square metres, is located in the Federalimentare pavilion 'Cibus is Italy', where business stories will be told, not only about the Beretta products, but also of other prestigious companies in the group: Moser, Piatti Freschi, San Carlo. "
The history of Beretta
The Beretta Group was founded in 1812 as an artisan sausage factory in Barzanò, in the heart of Brianza in northern Lombardy. It currently has 22 production sites in Italy and abroad, diversified by productive specificity, with 1,300 employees (projection for the end of 2015: 1,400 employees ).
The Group, thanks to the experience handed down for eight generations and a constant research for increasingly advanced production techniques, can now count over 300 references on the Italian market: from the typical Italian products (cured meat) to sausages. The Beretta Group is in 3rd place for the market of free service cold cuts.
