With two of its flours, Napoletana and Nobilgrano, Molino Dallagiovanna presented itself at the most important events of the period: the Summer Fancy Food Festival in New York, which ended on June 25th, and the Pizza Olympic Games, international competition that took place in Naples from the 8th to the 10th of July.
Organized by the True Neapolitan Pizza Association to celebrate its 35 years of activity, in addition to the competition, there was also an international convention. The competitors took part not only with Margherita and Marinara, but also with other types of pizza, using ingredients of their choice, as long as they do not conflict with the rules of Neapolitan gastronomy.
Five, in particular, the competing disciplines: Classic Neapolitan Pizza (according to ancient tradition); Pizza Gourmet (an innovation of tradition according to the AVPN specification); Gluten Free Pizza; Fried pizza; Mastunicola (disc of pasta with lard or extra virgin olive oil, basil, cheese and pepper).
