For the next three years, Melinda will trade cherries produced by OP La Trentina’s members. The product will be distributed under the brand “Amici di Melinda” to guarantee the same quality of all the references offered by the apple Consortium.
The newly-signed agreement will enable the company to consolidate its role as a specialized Italian supplier for "late" cherries on the domestic and overseas markets, by anticipating the availability season for fruits that will be available throughout the month July and the first half of August.
“This is a partnership that will certainly give good results”, says Michele Odorizzi, Melinda Consortium president.
The president of La Trentina Rodolfo Brochetti believes that "the agreement will allow us to make the most of our country's highest quality cherries, thanks to the vocation of our areas and the experience and experties of our members".
