‘Montana’, a brand of Inalca (Cremonini Group), for more than 60 years has been a leader in the domain of Italian alimentary history. It is taking the opportunity of Expo Milan in order to present both Italian spirit and sustainability of its products thanks to its integrated supply chain. Luigi Scordamaglia, CEO of Inalca, explains: ‘Inalca is directly involved in the wide agro-industrial world dynamics. We measure the impact of our products on the environment and reduce its effects. And this chain can be exported, because Inalca, on the scenery of meat producers worldwide, is the only leading company in both production and distribution’. The Environmental Product Declaration concerning frozen beef burgers was created for the first time. It was combined with ‘Environmental Sandglass’ concerning balanced consumption patterns. Finally, there is ‘Montana Power’: the new product is the evolution of meat aspic. It comes from 100% Italian farms and contains a percentage of superior meat.
