With Anteprima Amarone, a preview from the 2nd to the 4th of February, Verona is preparing to uncork the 2015 vintage, announced by many as one of the best in recent decades. To the point that there are those who have already booked the Grande Rosso special edition through a barrel adoption at the La Collina dei Ciliegi winery. Barrique 225 liters customized with lots of plate and now ready to debut in bottle. An investment for the palate - and not only - chosen by Italian and foreign enthusiasts strictly top secret: from sheikhs to bankers, luxury entrepreneurs, top managers and property developers, for a total of 18 barrels.
"For three years - said the president of La Collina dei Ciliegi and entrepreneur of finance, Massimo Gianolli - we borrowed in Valpolicella, in a version re-elaborated by us, the model of the sale en primeur for the admirers of Amarone in the world. Here their wine is kept, matured and refined. Always here it is possible to verify the evolution of the Amarone, which begins this year as a cru of our vineyard in Erbin. And there could not have been a better year: that of 2015 will remain in the history of Valpantena". The content of each barrel 2015, which will be translated in these days in 300 bottles (or 150 magnum), is worth 25,000 euros, but the value - according to experts - is destined to become a safe investment.
