The two new beers proposed by Birrificio Angelo Poretti brewery are the result of the collaboration between this historic brewery at Induno Olona (Varese) and chef Davide Oldani. These beers are the two references called Poretti 8 Luppoli (8 Hops)’ and included in ‘Le Armonie di Gusto (Taste Harmonies)’ Line. These two beers were precisely selected by Davide Oldani, a professional in the domain of taste and combinations, who offers consumers suggestions about food-beer matching, according to criteria of harmony among aromas and flavours.
‘Gusto Agrumato (Citrusy Taste)’ Poretti 8 Hops is high fermentation lager beer, characterized by its distinctive citrusy notes. Thanks to the bouquet of hops that are used, along with other aromatic ingredients (orange peel and coriander), it is well combined with seafood flavoured with lemon, fresh salad with orange and fennel, sweets with candied fruit.
‘Gusto Tostato (Toasted Taste) is high fermented amber beer, characterized by malted and pleasantly roasted notes. This beer should be combined with such courses characterised by toasted taste as grilled or roasted meats, knife-cut seasoned or fondue cheese, chocolate sweets.
