After the ready-to-use onion, Fondamentali & Quali, Centrale del Latte d'Italia’s new brand, presents the Red Onion and the Shallot. Made through careful cutting, these are selected Italian vegetables, positioned in the fruit and vegetable department of the organized distribution.
Accompanied by an ironic promotional campaign, with in-store posters entitled “Do not waste more tears in the kitchen” or “If yesterday you made the sautéed, smell your hands today”, the three new products are available in a single glass jar or in a handy triplet case.
Vegetables are picked, washed, cut, pasteurized and ready for consumption. With a shelf life of 120 days, once the packs are opened, they must be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 15 days.
This is how Marco Luzzati, commercial director of Centrale del Latte d'Italia commented: "After the successful launch of Yellow Onion last year, we wanted to extend the product line following the advice of consumers. Our goal is to offer an alternative to frozen and ready-to-eat vegetables, because we accomplished a packaging method that maintains excellent organoleptic qualities and genuine flavor".
